The hotel

The Anndore House oozes style, soul and sophistication. Dating back to the 1950s, the hotel injected ounces of unique touches to every area within its walls. There’s a barber shop, local artistry, a vinyl record player in every room, and two dining venues. The Constantine Restaurant has a show kitchen, so you can watch the chefs at work cooking up your order, or for a more relaxed setting, head to the Scarlet Door Café. Situated in Toronto’s heart at the Yonge and Charles intersection, it’s the perfect spot to explore this cosmopolitan city from.

Loft King Rooms are on floors 1-10 with city views and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Loft 2 Queen Rooms have city views and 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 


The Corner King Studio includes a sitting area with 2 large club chairs. A large writing desk and a separate dressing area.1 King-size bed sleeping maximum 2 adults.


The Master Suite includes a separate living and dining area.1 King-size bed sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Constantine Restaurant and Lounge (Mediterranean cuisine, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner). HotBlack coffee (Monday - Friday  7am-6pm Saturday/Sunday  8am-6pm) coffee and baked goods, and an exclusive selection of wine to grab and go.

The Barber Shop. Fitness centre. Laundry and dry cleaning services*. Self-parking CA$45 plus tax, per day (payable locally, subject to change). Complimentary WiFi.

Besides the aesthetic of the hotel, the cleanliness and the atmosphere staff is by far friendly, most welcoming, genuine staff I’ve ever experienced. This is true truly five star service. this is one of my favourite hotels Honestly, highly highly recommend.

Area has great restaurants and they provide quick and helpful service. Definitely recommend this for travellers looking to get around downtown toronto.

Booked their event space and the Apartment Suite for my wedding. Had an awful experience. Here’s why: 1) from the time I met the first person from their sales/events team, my event was passed on to 6 people that handled it. Too many cooks indeed spoilt the broth!! 2) many promises made were not kept. Lot of add-ons were withdrawn. 3) caterers were… Read more

Lot of add-ons were withdrawn. 3) caterers were changed from what I was initially told 4) had to explain my set up and arrangements to 4 people. They lack coordination. Multiple staff kept being on sick leave! 5) one week before the wedding they told me my Prosecco choices were unavailable 6) they took weeks to reply to emails. 7) had to chase them to get World of Hyatt points but to take the payment, although it wasn’t a must yet they took full payment in advance 8) emailed the GM of how his team ruined my wedding and received a response after a month stating they didn’t receive an email from me when it was sent to the same email address that he/she responded from. 9) they initially told me if I book the event I get the adjoining suite complimentary. Then said I’d have to pay for it. Even when I agreed to pay for the Residence suite, they sold it. I then asked to pay for the Apartment Suite then they said it’s old out. One week before my wedding, miraculously the Apartment suite somehow becomes available. The last sales executive Natalie who handled my event was amazing and so were the banquet serving staff Jesse, Kyle and Emma! Venue is beautiful but save yourself the stress of their poor and choose other venues! Read less

The price may be a little expensive but I highly recommend the hotel! Comfortable and spacious rooms, well maintained, housekeeping is very friendly and will make sure you have all the supplies you need. Although they are missing a pool/spa it’s still worth the stay!
