Your rooms is made to feel like a home from home. with bespoke furniture and unique artwork that keeps each room different, and will give you that warm-fuzzy feeling (don't worry - there is aircon for those summer trips!). No Goodbyes is the all day hangout thats on hand to cure those cravings, from coffee to cocktails, and brunch to late night bites. There's even a record player and a huge vinyl collection on hand for you to pick your own soundtrack.

Great spot. Rooms were comfortable. Service and staff were awesome. They have one of the best restaurants and coffee shops in the area right inside the first floor. Had no idea what to expect, but came away impressed. Will definitely be back.

The staff at the DC hotel demonstrated dishonesty. They stole my AirPods Pro, lied about it, and attempted to cover it up.
During my visit from the Netherlands, I accidentally left my AirPods Pro in my room and promptly contacted the hotel. Initially, they claimed not to have found them. It wasn’t until I provided a screenshot from Apple’s “Find My Device” feature—showing their last known location at the hotel—that they admitted to having them. They assured me they would hold onto the AirPods and instructed me to send a prepaid shipping label so they could return them promptly.
Days passed with no updates or responses to my emails. When I followed up, they suddenly claimed there had been a “mix-up” and told me to check my “Find My Device” again. Despite sending multiple emails for clarification, I received no further response. Eventually, I managed to speak to a manager, who initially promised to investigate. Later, they claimed the hotel never had my AirPods, offering no reimbursement for postage or any form of compensation.
I can still see that my headphones are in the DC area, now at someone’s apartment. Their handling of this situation was not only unprofessional but also blatantly deceitful.

Best Team in the Cafe!!

I'm in D.C. 6-8 times a year for work and no longer stay anywhere but here. The place is amazing in a dozen ways, but starting my morning grabbing coffee with Jaime, DJ, Maesha, and Kenny is the BEST!! The food and coffee are great, but it's the friendly faces and kindness that I'm always thinking about when I head out :)
Best employees

The Line is so beautiful. More than that, the employees are top notch. Everyone was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional — from the front desk to the room service to the bartender.
I don’t normally write reviews, but I wanted to give them a shout-out. It’s clear they care about the establishment and the guests. I would absolutely recommend…

Nasty Staff

This hotel has probably the nastiest staff of the world. From the first step into it, they let you clear that you are disturbing them with your presence. “How you dare to book a room in the hotel where I work?”, or “Why have you come in my shift to order breakfast?”.
I suppose that one of the questions to apply to the work at The Line was “Do you…

I suppose that one of the questions to apply to the work at The Line was “Do you hate people?” They only employ candidates who answer YES to this question.
