The LINQ Hotel + Experience

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Well-connected, the name lets slip the hotel’s ‘link’ to extra food, fun and frivolity. The guestrooms are hip and high-tech, but you won’t be there much with the LINQ’s endless diversions. The centrepiece is the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel, at 550-ft high it takes 30 minutes to do the full loop. You’re also ‘linked’ to an exclusive shopping, entertainment and dining promenade. And, of course, the all-essential Vegas casino. Over 21s can enjoy the pool, with nightly swims twice a week, Champagne Sundays and pool deck misting. Then there are the other decadences: the Brooklyn Bowl, a massive bowling and live music venue, and endless dining and drinking establishments, including 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, whose colossal portions featured on ‘Man v Food’.

A great central place to stay. Clean and comfortable beds. Just a few problems- Piece of wire sticking out from base of door- dangerous- we told the cleaning staff and they were going to tell maintenance. Still there 6 days later. No room service even though advertised every where. Would still stay here again though. So handy to everywhere. Lots of good eating places in hotel and nearby Read less

It was great for 4 friends. The air conditioning worked fine, no complaints. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. However, we had a couple of complaints. The light went out in one bathroom and they did not send anyone to fix it for 2 days. None of the phones worked in the rooms. The key cards continued to stop working, so we had to do multiple trips to the front desk. We told the front desk this, and they removed the upgrade fee for two nights. So we were pleased! Overall a good hotel with lots of food and drink options, but be aware of the price. Obviously it's no Bellagio, but it's nice. Read less

The worst makeover for a motel 6 experience. I’m sadly still stuck here for work and it’s awful. I set the air conditioning to be cold before I left the room and it’s still incredibly hot and loud. The resort fees are astronomical for a hotel that does not give any resort amenities. The room is incredibly small as is the bathroom and it feels… Read more

The resort fees are astronomical for a hotel that does not give any resort amenities. The room is incredibly small as is the bathroom and it feels much like a motel not a hotel I come to Las Vegas for work and conferences often and this is one of the worst hotels I’ve experienced to date. I would stay pretty much anywhere else for the price. We also had a cocktail at OSHEAS where the bartender informed us there is no drink or shot under $19 at the establishment. While at the Cosmo for dinner and drinks, everything was much more affordable than the Linq. If this was not connected to Caesar’s forum I would never stay here again. If I could leave now with a refund, I would. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Over charging people illegally then saying there was a system glitch, business will not make it right, stay elsewhere

I would give 0 stars if it were an option. I booked my room for 3 nights 6/28 - 7/1. The total for my stay was $400.85. When I showed up to check in they wanted to charge me $659.35. They said there was a glitch in their system and I was in “incorrectly” booked at the wrong rate. There was also another guest who had the exact same problem as me… Read more

They said there was a glitch in their system and I was in “incorrectly” booked at the wrong rate. There was also another guest who had the exact same problem as me trying to check in at the same time. The workers at the check in desk would not honor the price I originally booked for. You can’t just book a rate for someone and then decide oops we messed up and try and charge an extra $300. I booked at the Linq because I thought the price was fair. It felt illegal what they were doing, not letting me and the other guest stay at the price we booked. It’s not our fault that the system glitched. They offered 20% off and $50 dining credit to which I refused. I wanted my rate I originally booked! Then they offered $150 for the night where the price glitched to which I also refused. We ended up “settling” on $100 for the night and the $50 dining credit. I’m pregnant and it was over 100° that day in Las Vegas and we’d been standing in the lobby trying to dispute the issue for almost an hour. I only agreed because I needed to rest. I think the Linq should still honor the original booking rate of $400.85 instead of the $503 we were charged. I emailed the Linq since I returned home only to be met with a condescending email back from Krystal about how my total ONLY came to $509 instead of $400. How disrespectful! She doesn’t know my situation or my finances…how dare her act like it’s ONLY $509. Read less

Was a bit worried after reading a variety of “meh” & bad reviews but honestly had THE best week at The LINQ celebrating my 40th & our friends wedding!! Was a bit worried after reading a variety of “meh” & bad reviews but honestly had THE best week at The LINQ celebrating my 40th & our friends wedding!! We had a king room in District 3 - the room was clean & spacious, we didn’t get maid service on a couple of days but asked for clean towels & were given them with no questions asked. The bed was very soft as were the pillows - not our personal preference but by the time we got to bed after packing all the sights & sound of Vegas in to our days we were too tired to care!!!! The pool area is over 21s only & had a pool party vibe while also being relaxed. There were free sun loungers available but also payable day beds/cabanas - coming from the UK these did seem quite expensive & the couple of times we used the pool there were quite a few available, this may have also been due to the extreme heat though!! The LINQ promenade is fab if you want to grab some food/drinks without venturing too far - our personal faves for food were the classic In & Out burger & also Virgil’s BBQ. For drinks O’Sheas with the frozen Baileys was definitely the one - if you sit at the bar & used the machines you can just pay tips for it too!! We also had breakfast at Hash House a Go Go - again highly recommend however the portion sizes are huge!!!! Overall an amazing week & would definitely stay again if/when we return to Vegas!!!
