The hotel

In the thriving Seaport District, this feature-packed hotel’s just steps from one of neighbourhood’s biggest draws, The Lawn on D. The outside comes in at The Westin Boston Seaport District too, with its lobby greeting you with natural stone and wood, a vertical garden, and leafy trees. Delve deeper and you’ll find 4 bars and restaurants, each sharing its own take on all-American dining: there’s the contemporary slant at Sauciety, the Irish-American pub twist at MJ O’Connor’s, American grill favourites at Birch Bar, and local light bites at City Bar. When you’ve had your fill of the food, the Westin’s Laugh Boston comedy club presents local and national acts. And, if Boston’s sightseeing highlights don’t eat up every second of your trip, there’s always the indoor pool and whirlpool, fitness studio, and group runs guided by a ‘RunWESTIN Concierge’.

Not a bad hotel but can get super busy with conferences which impacts the experience. Check in can be slow when busy and online checkin didn’t work so had to wait a while. Would not say the front desk team were particularly welcoming but they were trying to get through the line. Rooms are nice and clean and location is surprisingly quiet. Parking… Read more

The hotel is great but the service at Sauciety, especially Mya, was the best service I’ve had (from ANYWHERE or ANYONE) in a very long time! Attentive, thoughtful, kind and aiming to please at every turn. Mya deserves a promotion and a raise. She is one of a kind and certainly is a great ambassador for the Westin Seaport!

We had a wonderful stay! Special shoutout to Mya at the Sauciety restaurant! Such a delightful, friendly and skilled server and human being. The rooms and bed were comfortable. The location is by the port with a great waterfront. Plenty of restaurants within comfortable walking distance. Quick cab ride to most city attractions.

Recently traveled to Boston from NYC for a conference. Stayed at the Westin Seaport which was convenient from the Amtrak South Staton, given that it was a beautiful sunny day I decided to walk the short distance (although taxis and ubers were plentiful). At check-in I was delighted to learn they had upgraded my stay to a suite and the rooms were nicely remodeled/refreshed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The fitness center had a very nice array of equipment as well as 6 Peloton bikes and an indoor pool. Was very happy with the options at both onsite restaurants with both the vegetarian and vegan options delicious. A big thank you to the front desk staff, the concierge, the business office and the housekeeper, Janice P. Read less
