Valet was amazing so kind and helpful
Would definitely come back for another visit. Can’t complain they made very comfortable made me feel like I was home. Make sure you tip your valet. Their positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers is appreciated.

Wonderful hotel and beautiful room- 2 blocks away from Nationals Park and around the corner from scenic riverfront boardwalk - only complaint was pricey valet parking and no one to help unload/load the car- otherwise a really great one night stay !

Fantastic experience that deemed this location a " re-visit must ".... From the moment you engaged with the staff during check-in to the area in which the hotel is located, everything was beyond perfect. Looking forward to attending a MLB game during the summer and enjoying the city again....
Inconsistent with the usual Thompson experience

This was my first stay at the Thompson DC. The facility is nice, but I had far too many issues for my short 18 hour stay that was supposed to be a relaxing staycation. That’s never happened to me before at a Thompson and hopefully this was an aberration. I understand issues happen and I would cautiously give it another try. Issues included:
-We ordered hot/sweet wings at the rooftop bar. The wings came with no ranch or blue cheese dressing, and we were told that they don’t have either.
-In the morning, we tried to call for room service. We called 5x between 8:30-9:30am before someone picked up. After about 30 seconds it rolls over to a voicemail box so you can’t even wait on hold, and there is no way to place an order online either.
-Room service came packed up as a to-go order like it is from uber eats. Not a big deal, but other Thompsons (and most luxury hotels) bring the food on a tray with plates, real utensils, etc.
-We were billed a 20% service charge for the globalist breakfast benefit that was not removed on the folio. While they did address this when I called, I needed to wait on hold for 15 mins to talk to someone.
