The hotel

In an incredible location, Towers Rotana offers a wonderfully friendly base from which to explore your exciting surrounds. The staff are very welcoming and the rooms spacious and well equipped with all the home-from-home comforts you’d expect. The beach is only a hop and a skip away but a lovely place to while away an hour or two is the hotel’s own rooftop swimming pool, admiring views of Jumeirah Boulevard in-between dips. There’s also a fitness centre, boasting not just state-of-the-art equipment, but a sauna and steam rooms too, ideal for relaxing in after a busy day sightseeing. Hungry? The award-winning Teatro is one of Dubai’s finest dining spots offering a range of cuisines from across the globe, including Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Italian. For buffet delights, Flavours on Two is open all day, every day. Dubai is a lively place and there’s nowhere livelier than Long’s Bar – styled in the great ‘Raffles’ tradition it boasts the longest bar in the Middle East (hence the name!). The hotel is excellent value for money, clean, good sized rooms and amenities. The staff are friendly, helpful, cheerful and clearly enjoy their jobs throughout the hotel and you are welcomed with smiles and offer to assist you at every turn. The food is of such a high level and you can enjoy fine dining, pub food or a quick and tasty snack at the pool but regardless of where you eat the quality far surpasses the price! We have experienced the cuisine at Teatro for the Saturday brunch where we were blown away by the choice on offer and quality of the food and selection from fois gras, sushi, sashimi, tempura, paella, fresh pasta from the live cooking station, lobster, to beef wellington and Sunday Roasts. The cheese selection and salads are also worth a mention as are the desserts. Similarly the selection in the Long Bar is intense and in addition to the traditional pub favourites, there is an exceptional range of pork products for non Muslims. A favourite of ours by the pool is the club sandwich. We also used the club lounge during our stay and found the service to be second to none. Before check in we were able to email directly and check various things - I have a dairy allergy and this was dealt with and food was adapted to accommodate me with nothing ever being too much trouble. The hotel is very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, the reception from Ousman, Reda, ruby, Omar, Mohamed and all of the staff was marvelous. Especially Vincent the manager of the restaurant flavors for 2 was very helpful and friendly during my long stay at the hotel, he managed to let Prince and the staff take care of me and all my food desires, each time I would have different styles of breakfast which I really love, enjoy and look forward to. Overall the whole team was very helpful and made me feel at home. Although my last day at the hotel is at the end of this month, I couldn’t wait but share how amazing the team is. Thank you Rotana!
