An overall outstanding hotel and consistently provides a high quality experience. The rooms are spacious compared to some other hotels and very well maintained. Rooms on the higher floors have panoramic views and very comfortable furnishings. I particularly enjoy the fluffy pillows! The location is convenient to numerous excellent restaurants and shopping. Public transportation is readily available, and the central location is ideal. During my numerous stays, I’ve enjoyed the Westin Club Lounge which is managed by Irene. She warmly greets each guest and ensures everyone enjoys the great food and beverage service. Fortunately, the hotel has a gym with cardio equipment, weight machines, and free weights! This is easily the best hotel of the 6 other hotels I’ve stayed in when visiting Boston.

Wonderful hotel on our first trip to Boston. It was central to EVERYTHING! We could walk to the Seaport, historical sites, Boston Common and pretty much everywhere in the city. Although long - we even walked to Harvard and MIT. The hop on hop off shuttle or Duck boats are also right outside. It is attached to the shopping mall and connects by enclosure to the Prudential Center with more shopping and dining. So if the weather is bad you don't have to go outside to walk, eat and do something.
We had a corner room and the view was great. It was hot outside one day during our stay and the air didn't work too well so it was HOT in the room. Thankfully the room had a tiny window that opened so that helped. Bed was comfortable, room was a nice size and was very clean. Lots of working elevators were available too.
We only ate there for breakfast. They had a buffet all the days of our stay (I think it may sometimes only be on weekends) and it was really good. It had lots of fresh and healthy options (avocado toast, overnight oats, etc.) and the bacon was crispy! Servers were so friendly and attentive.
The front desk was nice at check in, but other than that we really had no interaction with workers at the hotel besides at breakfast.
Overall a great stay and I would highly recommend.

Well located, excellent amenities, one of the better gyms I’ve seen, and a lounge to boot! All those things help rank the hotel highly in my mind, but the staff took them over the top. Irene truly went above and beyond and made this a hotel I will look to return to in the future.
Great location, wonderful staff, nice rooms - perfect!

Just back from wonderful stay at this perfectly centrally located hotel and happy to report that the people who work there make sure that your stay is spectacular! This is about the 6th time we've stayed at this wonderful centrally located and VERY well managed Westin. Rooms and location are perfect - truly great. However it is the people that make it spectacular and for us a home away from home. Forgive me if I gush! BUT the PEOPLE who work at this Westin are THAT good! Many of them have worked there for decades - it is THAT well managed. Irene Yeung in the lounge is a ray of sunshine and makes sure everyone is well taken care of. She goes above and beyond!! Loved service from David and Tia in Lounge. At BAR 10 Fabila continues to be great in the AM and Jason and Bernardo in the PM couldn't have been nicer. Good music Friday at Bar 10 btw. Frank the Concierge is, as always, warm and fantastic. A couple of people recently retired...after decades... (and sadly Ezra always great at Bar 10 was out on leave) but met some new people -- Marissa Front Desk Manager via email before our stay and Yael (sp?) front desk was kind too. Housekeeper was perfect (I don't know her name). All in all cannot be more pleased with the location, rooms and staff. We will be returning here in MAY for our son's college graduation!!! Highly recommended. I travel all over the world and this is one of my favorite places to stay. p.s. you can walk anywhere from here and it is right next to the T, the Back Bay train station, and the LOGAN Express stops 1 block away.

Buyer Beware

This place was a joke. I've been a loyal Marriott member and made reservations for my entire team for the event. Some members wanted some extended days so I took care of it. We then noticed the INSANE amount they wanted for the extra days ($600+ midweek during non-peak season) and so I cancelled a month before our trip. I was still charged $1200 for no-shows and have been battling with them ever sense. The hotel keeps sending me to Marriott's international line versus handling in-house. I've given them multiple opportunities to do the right thing and they are still combative. I'll never stay here again and it has damaged my relationship with Marriott. Don't stay here!
