This was my first time staying at Disney Movie. The room was perfect for two people. It was clean and furnished nice. We stay in Toy Story. What an excellent stay we had at All Star Music. We stayed in a standard room, I requested a top floor room in building 3 or 8 prior to arrival. We were on the top floor in building 3, Rock Inn. Close to the piano pool which we loved, and it is really not a far walk at all to the main pool and main building. We (family of 2 adults and 1 child… Read more
What an excellent stay we had at All Star Music. We stayed in a standard room, I requested a top floor room in building 3 or 8 prior to arrival. We were on the top floor in building 3, Rock Inn. Close to the piano pool which we loved, and it is really not a far walk at all to the main pool and main building. We (family of 2 adults and 1 child aged 8) stayed for 2 weeks and found the room an adequate size even with 3 large suitcases (we stood them in front of the interconnecting door). We loved having the Murphy bed as it allowed us to have the option of the table and chairs, which we used for breakfast. Mobile ordering was excellent and easy to use - my son loved the Mickey waffles. We also loved the refillable mugs. I had some dish soap and a sponge to give them a clean in between uses. We did not find the walk to and from the main building long at all - perhaps 5 minutes. We thought the resort was extremely well kept. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and happy to provide anything you needed. We used the laundry facilities several times, we found the app very useful and it was all very easy. Disney transportation was absolutely excellent - we never waited long for a bus and the only time we had to wait for a second bus was after fireworks at Magic Kingdom, however multiple buses were waiting. This has really spoiled staying off property for us! We really enjoyed the theming around the resort and found there were many quiet spots. We were there end of June/start of July and it never felt too busy despite several tour groups also staying towards the end of our stay. Our son loved toasting marshmallows and watching films in the pool. He also enjoyed the play park which is tucked behind building 9. Also a special mention for the lizards, rabbits and squirrels as he loved spotting them! He would have loved to spend far more time at the resort if we weren’t so busy! All in all, a perfect stay for our young family. Read less

My mom and I stayed at All-Star Music in July 2024. I spoke very highly to her about the All-Star resorts since I stayed at the Movies resort last year and loved it! Let’s just say we were both disappointed in this stay. Positives- I loved all the fun features of All Star Music (best of the 3). The atmosphere was so fun! Loved the bar next to the pool area. Staff were helpful and polite. Bed was comfy and clean. Bus transportation is a great amenity. Negatives- after a long day traveling and another long day in the excessive heat/sun at the parks, our room was in building 5 in the farthest room possible. We timed the walk and it was a 7 minute walk to our room. After getting back after 9pm walking around MK, taking a bus then a 7 minute walk, we were thirsty and drank all our water. We just showered and neither of us felt like walking all the way back up front to fill our water bottles. My mom called and asked for someone to bring water and they said they don’t have room service. Oh, and a woman in the shuttle mentioned she just booked 2 days prior (we booked months prior) and she got a room in building 1. She mentioned that she didn’t pay the extra for the priority buildings up front. That was definitely upsetting. We couldn’t be moved closer because they were apparently all booked. In addition, although a value resort, it’s Disney and it’s expensive. I figured house keeping would come every other day. Nope, every three days. Our trash was over flowing and we ran out of wash rags and towels. Each time we went up to the front desk for help there was no line formation. We were waiting a while and this couple who just walked up was taken before us. We were told they removed the ropes. I strongly suggest bringing back the rope because it leads it an instant rise in stress levels as soon as we got to our destination after a longgg trip. Lastly, my mom had something shipped to the resort and it actually was delivered before we even arrived. My mom asked about it and they said it will be delivered by end of day right to our room. It never came so she called and asked and the person said you have to get it they won’t deliver it. Overall, I was embarrassed that my mom was disappointed after listening to me rant and rave about the All Star Resorts. I made a reservation to return with my partner and stepsons in April. We’re paying a lot of money over spring break and I hope this experience is better. Read less

There are 2 nice pools and common areas are well kept. The standard rooms are very small. The Disney bus transportation was easy to get and convenient. The hotel is very colorful and definitely geared towards families and kids and maybe those who like the busy atmosphere. The restaurant seemed average but offered what you would expect. While it was not my favorite Disney hotel, all and all it was a good value for a short stay. Read less
