Beautiful location and very close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios by Skyliner. Nice setting. We liked that you didn’t feel crammed into a hotel and that you opened your door to the outside. Lovely swimming pools and nice to be able to open your door and storm watch under cover too! Only thing that irritated us was that we asked for a kettle to use (English so love a cuppa tea!) and they said only people in deluxe resorts can ask for a kettle. Seemed a bit petty when a man on reception had one available and was going to get it for us (but was then told not to by housekeeping!) Overall a really lovely stay and location. Read less

We have stayed at several WDW resorts however this was our first at Caribbean Beach. I was able to check in early which was a pleasant surprise since I arrived several hours in advance of my family. I realize it is not always possible but so nice that it was offered at check in. We were in Barbados, building 33 which I highly recommend with the proximity to the Skyliner. It is such an efficient way to travel to the parks (we are Epcot people). I did grab a sandwich at Centertown Market for lunch and filled my coffee mug daily but we did not eat at the hotel other than that. Our room was clean and neat as expected. Because of the length of our stay we would have only received Mousekeeping one day. Since we came back to the room for an afternoon break, we just did a towel swap a staff member by choice. On our last day I asked my family if given the choice of Caribbean Beach or Port Orleans which would they choose, they said Caribbean Beach because of the Skyliner. It truly was a game changer for us. It seemed shorter than bus rides and was a relaxing way to travel. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We loved being in the Disney bubble at Caribbean Beach and will stay here again. Read less

I think for the price you pay this place is totally outdated. We had two big spiders in our room. The ac doesn’t cool well and rattles heavily and keeps you up all night. You would be better off staying at a Days inn. I won’t be coming back and can’t wait to go home.

This was a resort that exceeded expectations. We did some negotiating and managed to land a room in the Trinidad section, with the best Skyliner accessibility and freshly renovated rooms. The atmosphere is great, with a more open, less crowded layout and we were well-equipped with amenities. The room has two clever pull-out beds to accommodate up to 5 people, which was quite nice for a studio room. There were some AC issues that were resolved with a decent fan that we were given. In every moment of the stay the staff always seemed to make an effort to ensure that our experience was delivered Disney-style. Overall the 5 nights that we had here made our Disney experience much more memorable. Read less

First if all this is a motel, definitely doesn't live up to disney mid tier level. The room is old, doesn't feel clean, and not worth the $$$$$ spent. This is our worst disney resort experience, we have been coming almost every summer to try a different resort everytime. At least when we signed up before to budget disney hotels, we knew kind of what to expect but not this time. We booked CBR with the same expectations to match our previous stays at mid tier Coronado springs and new orleans riverside but we were shocked. First night we found a live cockroach on one of the beds and multiple ants on the floor by the sinks. In the morning, we called about it, they said they would come spray and clean but one representative called us back to let us know that ants/roaches are part of Florida environment and inevitable. We thought thank you for this info but we actually live in Florida too but ants/roaches are definitely not in our house as part of this environment. Customer service is extremely lacking, not the answer we were expecting at "disney" and at ">$300/night". The bathroom is disgusting and the floor is just dirty. Every corner in the room has dirt on the floor and baseboards are literally stained. Again not "disney" expectations and not at that price. TV doesn't have the usual on demand or ability to sync from phone. We called them they said sorry this is the only disney resort that doesn't have this option. Pool is a very long walk from the room. Don't stay here, SKIP this one. Definitely we'll not be returning to this resort, I would go to Coronado or new orleans if you are still deciding. Read less
