We had the most wonderful family vacation at this golf resort in pristine Barbados. The views are spectacular, the Villas are well appointed, and the golf is the best we've experienced at a private resort. We had a family of 5 in a 3 bedroom Villa and the indoor/outdoor space felt so luxurious! We were greeted with Rum punch and the most welcoming staff! The food at the 20th Hole was our favorite and the Noisy Cricket provided priceless views over the ocean. We can't say enough about what this beautiful resort offers! Bravo! Read less

Apes Hill is a truly memorable place. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Latoniya from the Experience team, who gave us a tour of the Golf and Sea View villa and immediately offered us a choice of rum punch or ice-cold water. The villa itself was impressive, featuring three spacious bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and ceiling fan. The ground floor bedroom, ideal for a family, had two double beds and a door leading to the back of the villa. Upstairs, the master bedroom boasted a king-size bed, a balcony, and an en-suite bathroom with a hot tub. The third bedroom had a comfortable double bed. All the bathrooms were equipped with rainfall showerheads and included all the amenities you could need, from beautifully scented soap and body lotion to plush robes. The villa offered plenty of open space, with ceiling fans throughout to keep it cool. The kitchen and living room on the ground floor were connected by full-width windows that could be opened to let in fresh air—though you may want to keep them closed if you're not a fan of mosquitoes. The kitchen was particularly well-equipped, featuring everything from a Ninja blender and auto ice dispenser to a fridge stocked with water, milk, and orange juice. The kitchen also had a sink with adjustable water pressure, a dishwasher, a French press with locally sourced artisan coffee, and more—everything we needed was provided. Outside, the villa had its own pool, perfect for both relaxation and exercise. You could even control a mini waterfall feature from the living room. The pool area also had a comfortable sitting area, sunbeds, a large table that could seat 8-10 people, and a high-end BBQ. The villa was cleaned daily by the friendly staff who ensured everything was spotless and provided fresh towels. Additionally, the villa came with an electric golf buggy, which was convenient for getting around the area. Dining at the 20th Hole restaurant and the Noisy Cricket was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was enhanced by great music at just the right volume—never overpowering, always adding to the vibe. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything met our expectations. The service was perfectly paced, allowing us time to choose our meals and drinks without feeling rushed. The food was flavourful, with a variety of options on the breakfast, lunch, and all-day menus. My top recommendations are the Eggs Benedict paired with a Latte and Bajan Lemonade for breakfast, the Seafood Pasta with a Passionfruit and Mezcal Mojito for lunch, and the 20th Steak Sandwich with The Drunken Ape (Rum) from the all-day menu. The team genuinely cared about our experience and were happy to chat about things to do around Barbados. Although we didn’t play golf, driving through the golf courses in the buggy was an incredible experience. The views were breathtaking, especially at holes 16 and 19, which stood out the most. At the 16th hole, you can see both the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean from one of the highest points in Barbados. The 19th hole near the 20th Hole restaurant is another must-see. In conclusion, I would happily come back and choose to stay at Apes Hill Barbados again for its warm hospitality, cosy accommodation, and unparalleled service. Thank you for having us! Read less
