The hotel

Bringing the Caribbean to Florida, you can expect endless fun at Disney's Caribbean Beach. Split into 5 islands: Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique, Trinidad and Aruba, you can expect loads of pools to relax in, and so much for little ones to do. Head to one of the lively markets, chill at the beach surrounding the lake, or spend a few hours at the Fuentes del Morro pool, with slides galore, water cannons, and a shipwreck play area. Heading to the parks couldn't be easier - jump aboard the Skyliner gondola and you'll be in Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios in no time!

Standard View Rooms offer views of the resort hotel, courtyard or woodlands, with 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Standard View 5th Sleeper Rooms have either 2 queen-size beds and 1 child-size pull-down bed or 1 queen-size bed with 1 queen-size pull-down bed and 1 child-size pull-down bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child.

Water or Pool View Rooms offer views of the lake or pool, with 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Water or Pool View 5th Sleeper Rooms have either 2 queen-size beds and 1 child-size pull-down bed or 1 queen-size bed with 1 queen-size pull-down bed and 1 child-size pull-down bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child.

King Rooms offer a range of views, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 people.

Preferred Rooms are located with close proximity to Fuentes del Morro pool and Centretown, with either 2 queen-size beds, or 2 queen-size beds with 1 child-size pull down, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child.

Incredible experience ! Staff was amazing, thoughtful and answering every single question we had. Altought it's a big resort everything is pretty much close by. Disney's amazing service adds to the experience. Being serviced by the Skyliner (a gondola like you find in Ski resorts) to transport you to either Epcot or Hollywood studios this was very convient during our stay. For the other parcs the Bus system is very efficient and gets you to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom in no time. At the Skyliner base for Hollywood studios there is a Coffee shop called Jeoffrey's (Will review in full in another review) where the coffee is very good and the apple fritters are just amazing. Since our stay was for 3 days of park hopping and 4 nights sleep we did not take full advantage of the resort; we suggest, and that is our plan for next time, that you reserve 1 additional day to fully enjoy what this resort as to offer. Restaurants seemed very nice although we only ate at one of them. The room was comfortable and roomy enough for the 4 of us. The main pool at Old Port Royal is just amazing with beach like entry and 2 slides in which we had so much fun. During the day staff will organize activities for the kids such has races and fun games to spice up the atmosphere. We will surly return to this resort for our next Disney trip. Read less

We were worried about this hotel but were pleasantly surprised. From check-in, the service was excellent and every member of staff went out of their way to make sure we had a ‘magical’ stay. We were worried about this hotel but were pleasantly surprised. From check-in, the service was excellent and every member of staff went out of their way to make sure we had a ‘magical’ stay. We asked to be moved to the Trinidad section due to the updated rooms. The floor plan makes the most out of the space by having beds that fold into the wall and convert into the couch. Getting around the resort was a bit of a hassle, it luckily we were near the bus stop and the sky liner. There is not an elevator to the second floor, but this did not cause us any issues. Also very useful to have a laundry room. Thanks Disney. Read less

My family missed a return flight and stayed here for one night, figuring we couldn't go wrong with a Disney mid-tier hotel. While it isn't that we went wrong, I'd definitely categorize this more as a budget hotel. While it isn't that we went wrong, I'd definitely categorize this more as a budget hotel. The air conditioning was poor, the bathroom was ugly, old and cheap-looking, and though the room was technically clean, it was just dingy and didn't feel clean. I could have spent half as much for a hotel near the airport that I suspect would have been on par. For travelers who know they are getting into, this should meet expectations and the price premium comes from its proximity to the Disney parks, I suppose. But a travel agent had recommended this as a mid-range option a couple of years ago before our first trip to Disney, and I would have had a horrible first experience and might not have returned if I'd been based here. Stayed for two nights pre flight home The resort is on the skyliner cable car to MGM and Epcot. We did not need to use the hire car and it was easy to access the parks, Our room was clean and well supplied near amenities all was good … no downside we were not disappointed

This was our second stay at CBR. Last time we stayed in Aruba but this time we were in one of the updated rooms in Trinidad in building 34. We were slightly nervous but as 34 is the first set of buildings we just had a short walk across the bridge to the skyliner and the bus stop was only a couple of minutes away. The room was lovely, it was nice to stay in an updated room this time. Plenty of room with the Murphy bed out, room under the bed for luggage, we pulled out the 5th sleeper to use as storage too. There’s also a fridge and coffee maker which is very handy. We did have an issue numerous times with our AC unit, it kept leaking inside but it was always sorted quickly with both housekeeping and maintenance. I think CBR gets a bad rep. Everyone moans about how big it is when surely everyone knows how big it is by doing research before they stay and that there’s no lifts to the 2nd floor even though it is stated there aren’t any. Yes the resort is big but from Trinidad it took us only 10 mins to walk to Old Port Royale. We never struggled for a bus and always got on the one we wanted (appreciating that we didn’t go in peak times). The village pools are quieter than the main one which we preferred. Staff were always friendly and helpful. We ended up speaking to management regarding the issue with our AC as it had made some clothes wet and they kindly washed them, returned them the same night and offered compensation. I think having the skyliner is invaluable as the bus can be tiresome at times so wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Read less
