There was quite a line up at check in, however there were sufficient staff to check everyone in timely so it didn't take too long. The pools, hot tubs and saunas were great. It was busier about an hour before dinner, however earlier in the morning/day was a lot quieter.
The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were very attentive and available to ensure your every need was taken care of.
The hotel is located just outside of town centre which was nice as it was quieter and less busy. It's a quick walk, however to town centre which mades the location super convenient.
I would recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

Long Weekend stay
Nov 10, 2024Daryl B
Whistler itself is a great little village with super walks along the trails. On this trip I did the walk around Lost Lake as well as along Rainbow Lake. Both are well maintained and I also caught sight of a black bear.
The hotel is the cherry on top! Great room, great food and excellent staff made this a memorable trip! Thank you.

We just had a fantastic weekend at the Chateau Whistler resort. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They upgraded us to the Gold floor. The rooms were spotless, beds and bathroom were luxurious. We enjoyed the pool and workout facilities. The location is second to none right on the ski hill!

Our stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler was simply outstanding! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well cared for.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, offering friendly and attentive service at every turn. Our suite on Fairmont Gold was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The amenities at the Chateau are top-notch, from the spa and health club to the cozy fire pits, making it the perfect place to relax. The food and beverage was a culinary delight, with locally inspired menus and impeccable presentation.
The location is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy Whistler's natural beauty and outdoor activities. We enjoyed a wonderful nature walk around Lost Lake and the golf course since it was too early for skiing.
Overall, Chateau Whistler exceeded our expectations in every way. This resort truly knows how to create a memorable experience for guests, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an exceptional Whistler getaway!

Just returned from the resort's 35th Anniversary Trip for colleagues. It was over the top; the hotel spoiled us all. We all enjoyed the newly expanded Fairmont Gold Floor, renovated rooms and suites, food and drinks at the Mallard Bar, a walk around Lost Lake ending in chili and cocktails at the Club House, with a final night Gala in the MacDonald Ballroom. We were treated like honored guests and the food and beverage every step along the way was amazing. The property has had many updates over the years, but right now the property is in pristine condition...stunning really. General Manager, Ken Hall, has a lot to be proud of both for the property and his team. I highly recommend this property to both leisure and group guests. The location cannot be beat, and you could not ask for better service and care.
