If there is one review you listen to let it be this one, I am a Hyatt member and fan, I’ve booked many times with Hyatt in the U.S. and even Japan’s Park Hyatt Kyoto, and soon the new Grand Hyatt in Deer Valley.

For two nights we paid almost $800 which is not the problem, the problem is the health hazards this hotel poses to its customers. The hallways smelled of wet carpet, the shower had black mold in its tiles and grout and yellow mold spots on the ceiling. When my partner and I showered our eyes began to burn, and his nose began to heavily bleed. so much so that we had to rush to the nearest Urgent Care to get checked out and prescribed medicated eyedrops. we called the customer service line and were told that a ticket was opened and front desk would be notified of our problem. No one reached out. Not until 2-3 days after checkout I receive an email from Hyatt asking if my problem had been resolved already. Please do yourselves the favor and just pay a little bit extra elsewhere for your health. They seem to also keep the kitchenware they use for breakfast/food outside in the parking garage. Whatever it is it seems it should be kept in a more sanitary area.

Wonderful stay!

My stay was wonderful. I would highly recommend the hotel to others. The hotel amenities were great, the food provided was delicious and the setting was ideal for our conference. There were a number of meeting areas and each was comfortable.

Room I reserved was not respected, room I was given was disgusting

Booked a room with a king-sized bed with late check-in due to my flight arriving at 11pm. Checked in online at 4pm EST, did not receive confirmation email due to systems being down.
Arrived at the hotel around 11:45pm, was notified that my room was given away to someone else, and there were no other king-sized, nor queen sized beds available. The…

The only rooms available were casitas located very far away, and the front desk recommended we walk there - easily a 10-15 minute walk in the middle of the night.
Arrived in the room to find that it was incredibly hot and humid, smelled like mold, and showed signs of black mold around some AC receivers. Upon shifting one of the beds over so we would have more space than a double-sized bed, we found a significant amount of dirt, condom wrapper, and other grime under the bed. Very disgusting.
Improve your room booking experience so that when someone books a king-sized room in the tower, they get that room. This was my worst hotel experience ever.

Fluffy pillows, immaculate room, beautifully appointed furniture with a coastal feel, delicious hamburger in the restaurant, professional and welcoming desk staff, great view of the bay and lots of elevators! It is a fantastic hotel. The bed was so comfortable. Morning came too soon! I hated to leave. I stay in 20 -30 hotels a year, but this one was the best! I can't wait to get back and see Tampa Bay from my window, speak with the wonderful staff, and have another deeee-licious hamburger in the 1823 restaurant. Tres Bonne!
