This view is only 5 stars because of ASHLEY AT GUEST SERVICES. I checked into my room and was there for my birthday so I wanted to get a birthday package. I sat down with her and went over every little detail. She made me feel very welcome and special. During my first interaction with her, I knew my day would be special. She made a reservation for me and my whole group at the Italian restaurant. She came in early on my day to make sure that everything was just right. She made sure they had balloons on the chairs and a nice setup and talked to the chef to make sure they understood how special my day was. She was so meticulous about everything and the whole dinner time she just kept checking to make sure nothing was out of place and I was having a great day. Anything that went wrong she quickly rectified the situation to make sure that it didn't affect me. I ordered 2 cakes and they brought one but the next morning she had a cake delivered to my room with a special message on it that made me feel even more loved. My whole stay there her presence and energy just made every day good even when it was bad. She made us dinner reservations for every day we were there and made sure to ask when she saw how things were going. I can't thank her enough for all her love and her support while there because the rest of the people are a whole other review to be made. If you want things done and done with patience and care to you ASHLEY is your go-to. Read less

Shows got cancelled and switched to singing only. Reservations were not honored. Staff was rude and careless. Would not go back again.

Grand Palladium Jamaica was everything my wife and I dreamed of, and more. The property was absolutely gorgeous and meticulously maintained from every angle. People were onsite making small improvements in some way every day. This wasn't distracting to us, or from the beauty of the facility, in any way, in our opinions; but it rather showed what it takes to keep a place running and looking so beautiful. We also traveled the first week of November, which is right towards the end of their wet season - so it is assumed that they were doing some last minute prep work for the dry season when they are busiest. We stayed in room 3052, which is in the Canna building in their Villa area. The room was gorgeous and spacious, with a personal hot tub in the bathroom and a private outdoor shower under the stars. The toilet seat came loose at one point - appeared to have had rust on the hinges. Maintenance fixed it while we were out one day and nobody tried to blame us for it or anything. The fridge is restocked daily with 6 beers, 6 sodas, 2 juices and bottles of water. They also provide 4 coffees and an assortment of teas for the room every day. The bed was changed almost every time we left the room, which was unbelievably impressive. Even after coming back from dinner one night, the bed was made and flower pedals were on it with some sort of wonderful scent sprayed in the air or on the blankets (not too strong, just a faint and pleasant smell). Purchasing the villa room meant that we were part of their Signature Level, which includes access to a concierge for the duration of your stay. We were welcomed and hosted at the facility by Shanna and Jaune. Each day one of them would check in with us on WhatsApp to see if we had any questions or needed anything, and to manage our dinner reservations. They were unbelievably kind and helpful. They have a shuttle service around the resort grounds all day and into the later hours of the night. If you stay here, find Patman! He's the coolest guy ever. Can't stress that enough. He linked us up with Mr. G, who runs tours through the Junta cab company that has an office onsite. Mr. G worked at the resort in the past and he took us on a quick afternoon trip to Negril to see some of the island outside the resort. He was super nice, and the local spots he took us to were amazing (Office of Nature had the BEST Lobster I've ever had in my life - puts every New England lobster experience to shame). The restaurants were unbelievably amazing. I was half expecting cruise ship level food, or something you might get at a corporate outing... boy was I wrong. My wife and I tried most of the restaurants, including: Portofino, El Dorado, Sumptuori, La Adelita, and Poseidon. I have nothing but glowing reviews for all of them. El Dorado, Portofino and La Adelita are probably our favorites. The steaks are El Dorado and the tostadas at La Adelita stand out the most. That steak is to die for. Richard at Portofino is also an angel. Really nice guy. If you take the trip here, make sure you hang with Pete at the pool bar, along with Donald, Jay and Jeannie at the Infinity Bar. We had the best time with these guys and gal. Read less
