It wasn’t without a few minors issues, had to request items multiple times, like extra towels, trash bags etc. The floors weren’t very clean at check in, but called and they immediately came and cleaned the floors. The restaurants and bars are overpriced, like most resorts, but there are many great restaurants within 15 minutes so this wasn’t an issue. The kitchen was sparsely stocked so don’t expect to cook much, but that was ok…it IS vacation. Our view was amazing and the resort itself was very well kept and a gorgeous area. I would definitely consider returning. Read less

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried if we had chosen the right resort but shouldn’t have worried as it was wonderful and relaxing. We had a 2 bed villa and everything was great and clean no big complaints at all. The only things it could do with was a kettle, safe and maybe some lounge beds on the patio. Apart from those tiny things everything else was great. Two bathrooms upstairs and a toilet downstairs, everyone had enough space. Tv downstairs and tvs in the bedrooms. Good to be able to wash some clothes in the washer although an airer would be helpful too for the non tumble bits. Can’t comment on the hotel rooms but they looked nice especially if you get a poolside one. The resort is large and takes some getting used to. We had to drive to reception area as my husband can’t walk far, but I guess it would be about a 7 minute walk from where our villa was, but there were closer ones and ones further away. We ate in the tiki bar the first night, it was ok. The next 2 nights we drove out and found some lovely local restaurants. The dolphins are nice to see on-site. Hired a bike which was good. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat Read less

Jacob the bartender made the greatest drink I have had in the keys. Him and the staff were very friendly and made our stay great. We came for my wife and friend’s birthday and he made us feel like we had a bartender at home. Definitely look for Jacob from turkey if you are ever at hawks cay.

Sara is such an incredible stylist and wonderful human being! My hair extensions matted terribly after I went scuba diving. Situation was traumatic. She worked on my hair for 4 hrs and was amazing. Lifted my spirits and was a miracle worker. Can’t recommend her enough! Hawks Cay is blessed to have her. She was my angel for sure!
