If you're on the quest for a slice of luxury in an historic location within the heart of New Orleans' French Quarter then look no further than the Hyatt which has access to Bourbon Street as well as wonderful views from above. All of the hotel's guest rooms display a modern design, have 12ft ceilings and are very spacious. If you're looking to relax and regroup then your own peaceful pocket is just moments away in the hotel’s indoor atrium or French Quarter style garden courtyard. Another excellent option is the superb swimming pool which comes complete with bar and courtyard setting to help you relax and unwind prior to experiencing a wealth of on-site dining options. Enjoy casual ambience in the market with Powdered Sugar, traditional seafood dishes at the Red Fish Grill and cocktails and snacks at the Batch Bar. Of course, when you have direct access to the Hard Rock Café, burgers and live music can be quite enticing and thanks to the hotel’s gym you can devour whatever you fancy and still leave room for dessert.

Nice hotel in a great location in the Quarter.

Beautiful lobby and great location. Inner courtyard rooms are quiet. Friendly staff to help out with needs. Easily walking distance to local attractions and steps away from the convenient Streetcar system as well. Overall, a great place to stay for visiting New Orleans.
Balcony on bourbon

The hotel is in a very convenient location, very walkable to many nearby areas. The staff was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Our room had a balcony directly on Bourbon St, which was a cool surprise. The room and bathroom were clean.
Needs some TLC

Good location but noisy. Elevators are old and tired. Bar is wanting somewhat (was unable to get a specific draft beer for three nights in a row with no explanation). Reception staff seem to have challenges in pre-ordering taxis to the airport for early morning departures.

Stayed for a few days at the Hyatt Centric and it was amazing! Upon check in, we received a free balcony upgrade for our birthdays without asking. I’m unsure of their name because my significant checked us in, but kudos to them. The bellman, Eric, was a pleasure the entire trip and so eager to assist with anything you may need. He’s a true gem and as someone in the hospitality industry, I wanted to recognize him. He should be proud of his work ethic, attitude, and helpfulness. Likewise, the valet attendant, Ashton, should also be commended, as he too was personable, attentive, and helpful. The best of the best there and we will certainly be back.
