The hotel

If you're on the quest for a slice of luxury in an historic location within the heart of New Orleans' French Quarter then look no further than the Hyatt which has access to Bourbon Street as well as wonderful views from above. All of the hotel's guest rooms display a modern design, have 12ft ceilings and are very spacious. If you're looking to relax and regroup then your own peaceful pocket is just moments away in the hotel’s indoor atrium or French Quarter style garden courtyard. Another excellent option is the superb swimming pool which comes complete with bar and courtyard setting to help you relax and unwind prior to experiencing a wealth of on-site dining options. Enjoy casual ambience in the market with Powdered Sugar, traditional seafood dishes at the Red Fish Grill and cocktails and snacks at the Batch Bar. Of course, when you have direct access to the Hard Rock Café, burgers and live music can be quite enticing and thanks to the hotel’s gym you can devour whatever you fancy and still leave room for dessert.

As a Globalist I come to expect the Best, This was the Worst. In process of trying to get refund. Property needs a GM since no one is empowered to make decisions outside of stringent guidelines since they are franchised. Rooms dark, property is in need of significant need of renovation. Globalist breakfast offerings very strict. Suite award certificate only gave petite suite which was a glorified larger room. A true bedroom suite would be a charge even if it would have gone empty. Property devalues Hyatt brand. Had to checkout early it was so bad. Customer service of non management needs addressing. Left something of property and front desk agent said they would call back. Never did. Went to property; it was in room right where we told front desk it would be. Last stay there ever. Read less

I enjoyed my stay the hotel was clean the staff was helpful. I would recommend this hotel for business or fun. I appreciated that they cleaned the rooms everyday (now a days your lucky to get every other day). The bar and restaurant were excellent.

The hotels in a great location and staff was really nice and helpful. The only problem was we booked a king suite for a wedding trip and ended up with 90-100 decibel loudness inside the room all night from drummers banging on buckets with drumsticks and cars driving by blasting music and burning out. The only problem was we booked a king suite for a wedding trip and ended up with 90-100 decibel loudness inside the room all night from drummers banging on buckets with drumsticks and cars driving by blasting music and burning out. The issue isn’t that it’s a party area. The issue is that the quality of the room’s sound insulation is subpar. Our friends stayed in the same hotel and had no issues with noise. We love the party atmosphere, but we also paid points plus money for a hotel room to escape the party ant the end of the night and we could not. Read less

Ashton was so helpful with all of our needs. He seemed very excited about his job and was eager to help us navigate the area. All with a smile. He was very knowledgeable of the area and never hesitated to provide any assistance needed. Thank you!
