The hotel

If you're on the quest for a slice of luxury in an historic location within the heart of New Orleans' French Quarter then look no further than the Hyatt which has access to Bourbon Street as well as wonderful views from above. All of the hotel's guest rooms display a modern design, have 12ft ceilings and are very spacious. If you're looking to relax and regroup then your own peaceful pocket is just moments away in the hotel’s indoor atrium or French Quarter style garden courtyard. Another excellent option is the superb swimming pool which comes complete with bar and courtyard setting to help you relax and unwind prior to experiencing a wealth of on-site dining options. Enjoy casual ambience in the market with Powdered Sugar, traditional seafood dishes at the Red Fish Grill and cocktails and snacks at the Batch Bar. Such a great location. Close enough to the action of restaurants, shopping, and bars, but just enough off the main strip to not be overwhelmed with excessive noise. Hotel was very clean. Quick check in and out process. Would stay here again next time I am in town.

Hopefully, they will complete their own survey to make Hyatt Centric aware. Oh, I forgot to mention that the elevators are horrible and should definitely be upgraded. Wait times were forever, sometimes 1 was out of order, and the function is slow and pretty scary. Read less

Our three day heaven on earth experience at the New Orleans Hyatt was phenomenal. From the moment we stepped through the doors into the cool elegant yet inviting atmosphere we were greeted with smiles from very attentive staff. The ambience was absolutely perfect with the lively atmosphere from the bar with their interesting cocktails, and the surrounding restaurant and breakfast nook areas. Compliments to the chef with food that was tasty, abundant, and perfectly tempered. Although hot and humid outside the hotel, inside was cool and dry. The amenities from the lovely pool to the lobby and concierge service And front desk service were perfect. Well, worth the price. Can’t wait to return. Read less
