Everything was great its just an older hotel and in a rough climate needs some love on the grounds and public spaces, but a great hotel and staff is awesome food and drinks were excellent

Check in was perfect, room service was perfect, and the overall environment was above par. My only recommendation is to try better to group parties in the same group together in regards to rooms. I stayed in letter "U" which was a bit of walk to meet the rest of my party in the lobby which all stayed in A, B, C. Overall great experience.

Will not stay again. Not worth the money as room stayed was old and not too clean. No breakfast included like most hotels do.

We have come here many times over the years. Perfect place to stay for those who enjoy golf. There are also many amenities like tennis, pickleball, fitness center, pool, ping pong, corn hole, and giant outdoor chess set. Be aware that there are add on fees to the bill like parking and resort fee. We were so busy enjoying Monterey and Carmel, we did not utilize the amenities at all. The rooms have had a decent upgrade with the exception of the bathrooms where you still need to shower while standing in a tub. Ughhh shower curtains. The beds were insanely comfortable. The hallways and stairwells reveal that the structures are old and tired. This is a great hotel but not luxury if that is what you are looking for. Location wise, you really need to rely on your car. There are other hotels better situated, closer to the water. It all depends what you are looking for. I think this hotel could be great for families that want to use the amenities and get away from the crazy crowds in Cannery Row and Aquarium. Read less
