We stayed at this hotel from November 6-10, 2024. First - let me just say the hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly. The shuttle service to the parks is also a plus. That being said, it's also very expensive. We booked a two-bedroom lock-off for our family of eight. This cost me over $4,000 US for four nights. It had one bedroom with a king bed, a living room with a pull-out couch, and adjoined to a double queen room, plus two full washrooms and a partial washroom. It also has a "kitchen" which is totally underwhelming for the type of room. In fact - it didn't make any sense in that type of room to basically have no kitchen. It has a tiny sink, a one-cup coffee maker with two coffee pods and a small bar fridge in a room that can sleep 8+ people. We have a toddler and so I asked if we could please have a microwave to prepare some of her food, milk, etc. They told me if I wanted a microwave, it was $15 US per night. Above and beyond paying $1000 per night at this hotel, I had to rent an appliance for the room. The same was true if we wanted a toaster or any type of appliance to prepare food. (We laughed about it because the room included a large dining room table - but nothing to eat on - so we bought paper plates, solo cups and cutlery). My parents kindly stepped up and said they would cover the cost of the microwave since we had paid for the room. For me - it's the little things like this that turn me off a hotel. I hate to compare it to a Disney hotel, but we've always had a coffee maker, microwave and toaster in our Disney rooms - even studios. Everything here felt like a money grab. Parking for $30 a night - $15 per night for a microwave (both also subject to 12.5% tax!). Additionally, I had to agree to put an "incidental" fee on my Mastercard that is supposedly returned as long as I didn't charge anything, but the microwave was charged to the room after all, so I'm not even sure I'll see the money refunded to my card. All in all - this was a one and done for us. There are many, many lovely hotels in the vicinity that accommodate eight people for less than half the price (and you have everything you need up front). We likely won't return - which is sad because it is a lovely property. Read less

Mould in bathroom, we had 3 young kids with us and there’s no way to open a window, so this was a health hazard. We discovered the bathroom fan was not working, so perhaps this is the cause. Some money was taken off our bill, but this 100% did not reflect there being a health hazard in the room. Furthermore the pool lifeguards are more like… Read more

If it were not for the above we would have loved our stay (easy to get to Universal, friendly staff and fine accommodations. Read less

My review is based on my experience as a person in a wheelchair. I found the room not to be accessible for me, getting around on the rug was hard, not enough room to turn my wheelchair around, no bar when entering/exiting the shower. The door was heavy and hard for me to get in and out of. I did go to the front desk for other options but there… Read more

We loved this hotel. It bright spacious and clean. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We stayed for two weeks during Hurricane Milton. During which the hotel put in buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner in one of their conference rooms, also opening another room as an entertainment room for families. They allowed families and their pets to stay with their pets. It was a bit like Crufts for me, although I do hope their homes were safe for their return. We visited the shop daily to get a coffee and top up on food snacks. We absolutely loved dark water tavern for its tapas meals and cocktails. It is not cheap but totally worth a visit. Our room was on the 7th floor and was comfortable and very clean, with a sink and separate toilet with shower over the bath. The large tv provided us with many hours of wonderful films to watch during our downtime. We used the boat most days to reach the parks or used the garden path ( only takes 10 minutes to reach Citywalk). Definitely a hotel we will return to. We gave a great holiday! Read less

Check-in was very quick and easy, and the rooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable too and the cleaners came in everyday when we were out. A couple issues would be that the shampoo and conditioner weren’t being refilled throughout our stay, and the room didn’t have any soap. We checked with friends and they didn’t have soap either. Also, the curtains wouldn’t fully shut, so in the early morning, some light would be coming in which would wake us up which was a little annoying. For breakfast, we went to the buffet for the first morning and it was very expensive for what we got. For a quick meal, I recommend the Dutch Trading Co because it’s a lot cheaper. The water taxis to the park are so frequent and the drivers were so nice. Read less
