Repeat guests here for a big attraction convention and there is no place other I would stay. It’s empty this time of year before Thanksgiving which helps but the property is immaculate, the grounds and pool are tight, the spa is exceptional and the CLub Level is a treat if you can swing it. We brought some new folks with us for their first visit and first RC Club experience and they thought it was majestic. It just makes it so easy and not to have to bring your wallet out for everything, plus the ladies and gentlemen up there are world class. It’s super quiet compared to Disney or conference hotels, but that’s what you are hoping for in our situation. Can’t say enough about it - don’t think twice! Read less

Nicole at the Spa is one of the best therapists there! She is very attentive to unique needs and gently prompts you for feedback to make sure you have a great experience. Upon arrival we were very impressed. The bellman, Charles was amazing. He recognized that we were three in A king room so he went downstairs, and got us a new room. He also booked us a reservation in the restaurant. Service at the resort is exceptional except when it comes to the parking. As a guest you are forced to park valet and pay an exorbitant fee to park overnight. However, when we checked out today we called down to have our car brought up. We went down 15 minutes later we were told the car hadn’t even been placed in line to be brought up because there were too many people checking out at the same time. There was no system so some guests received their car in 10 minutes and others like us waited over 45 minutes. When I asked about the problem I was told yes so you have waited over 40 minutes there are a lot of people here who have waited the same. My response.: You are right, and we all paid a lot for the parking and expect the Ritz to have a plan. So I went to the front desk and asked for a manger. No one showed up. Read less

I am writing this review from an amazingly comfortable bed in this very good hotel, but it is not excellent in the way you are are used to a Ritz. I have been here many times for a conference, this time husband joining so I’m characterizing it as “couples“ given his shared viewpoint. Facility is great, especially for a conference. But, a Ritz is about service, and the concierge desk closes early and is unwilling to get needed meds from a local pharmacy; calls to housekeeping, or inroomdining ring endlessly with no one answering, there is no coffee service in the lobby in the mornings, etc., etc., non are huge issues, but all inconsistent with Ritzes all over the world. So if you want a great property, this is it. If you want incredible service, this is Orlando. This is not the service capital of the world. Read less

This room was booked for me on behalf of my company for the annual management retreat/conference. I was initially going to accept the room but, I was in a zone affected by Hurricane Milton and I was without : electricity, wifi, plumbing. I have a small dog and upon arrival I was told there was a $250 per cleaning fee which Ritz begrudgingly waived since it was determined that they failed to disclose that information to my employer. Because of my dog they placed me on the first floor, even though several other guests had dogs and weren't placed on the 1st floor, while the rest of my coworkers were places on the 10th and 11th floors. The TV didn't work and I called three times for maintenance. On the third call I stated I was going to the store and taking my dog with me so they couldn't enter the room and fix the TV. Which they didn't. I called and exclaimed that my dog is ESA and is going to freak out without the TV. Which he did. They finally fixed the TV that same evening only for the TV to turn itself off and on the next day. This is my only time off to myself and had to add another 4 hours of driving which could have been completely avoided if I had never gone to the hotel. All of that on top off of half the staff giving me nasty dirty looks because of my dog and attire caused me to check out early. I'm 44 years old and haven't experienced this level of degradation and discrimination since I was a teenager. I don't want a reply, or apologize, or a "second chance" from Ritz. I'm simply being completely honest about my experience. I feel sorry my employer wasted over $600 a night for this nonsense. If you're wealthy and causcasion I'm sure you won't have the same experience here. Good luck. Read less
