Nice Hotel, Good Location but i really wish they wouldn't stop emailing me other people's invoices. I received about 20 emails to date containing other people's information. I have also emailed the hotel 5 times informing them of same. I am being bombarded with emails from accounting-no reply @royalsonesta the detail includes people's room…

Great location, with outstanding staff, but place needs some updating.

First, I will start by saying every staff member we encountered was beyond delightful. Every single one was so friendly and helpful. We have no complaints with the staff. Best I have encountered at a hotel in a long time honestly. However, the rooms were tired and kind of run down and for example, in the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was…

First, I will start by saying every staff member we encountered was beyond delightful. Every single one was so friendly and helpful. We have no complaints with the staff. Best I have encountered at a hotel in a long time honestly. However, the rooms were tired and kind of run down and for example, in the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was literally hanging out of the wall. Tub faucet same. The tub itself was a pain to deal with. Why do hotels even have old outdated tubs in the bathrooms? Would be so much better with a walk in shower.

In the thick of things

This hotel is right in the thick of Bourbon Street - which if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s a great location. There was lots of construction in the area, so be careful walking. The hotel itself was just a typical hotel. We had to ask for extra pillows, wash cloths, towels and a bath mat. It was quiet though and our room overlooked the third floor pool. You needed your room key to get up in the elevator, which is a nice safety feature. There is a jazz bar right off the lobby and the singers were heard were great. The doormen were very helpful with directions.

Nice hotel in the middle of Bourbon Street

Work trip with conference at this hotel. Right in the middle of bourbon street. I stayed in a room right by the pool. It was quiet and i could not hear any noise from Bourbon street. Room had a door access with an outside sitting area. Room was cleaned every day. Hotel food was good. Music played by the pool was a vibe.

The hotel is the perfect location for anyone seeking to enjoy the French Quarter of New Orleans. Yet the moment you walk through their icon front door - you in a secluded world class hotel and away from all of the craziness that can be Bourbon Street. The room was amazing - the amenities everything anyone could hope for and at a reasonable value for this class of a hotel. But the Outstanding and Professional staff is what prompted us to want to write a review. From the moment we arrived, Joe and Christian in valet made our trip feel special every time we left and returned to the hotel. The reservation agent that assisted us with our room selection Kourtney was the best and the room we got was exactly what we wanted. The ladies at the front desk (Marybeth and Leanne) were so professional and warm - they made our entire group smile every time we walked through the lobby. The front door man Caleb was the perfect gentlemen and we were always greeted with an open door and smile. Finally, we had a group of 16 friends on our trip and we utilized La Booze (the Royal Sonesta bar on Bourbon Street) as our meet up place daily and for afternoon drinks - the staff (Alex, Jim, Troy, Alberto, Demarcus) were outstanding their service, professionalism and warm interactive nature made La booze a favorite place to hang out for our entire group. You cannot go wrong with the Royal Sonesta and its staff.
