Located on the award-winning sugary white sands of St Pete Beach. A 40-minute drive to Clearwater. Distance from Tampa International Airport: 30 miles. 

Hotel information

353 rooms on 7 floors in 1 building with 4 lifts. All with air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi access, flat-screen TV with pay-per-view movies, tea and coffee making facilities, wet bar, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, safe, hairdryer, and iron and ironing board. 

Standard Rooms are 250 sq ft and have 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Resort View Rooms are 250 sq ft with courtyard or pool views, and two double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Resort View Villas are 480 sq ft with courtyard or pool views, and feature a separate living room with double-size sofa bed, and bedroom with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 6 people. 

Gulf Front Villas are the same as above, but with views of the Gulf of Mexico. 

Complimentary self-parking (included in the resort fee). Suncoast Beach Trolley stops right outside both RumFish Beach Resort and Tradewinds Island Grand Resort.

We stayed here for 1 night and had a very enjoyable visit. We are a family of 6. The room was good and very clean. Small balcony with no pool or sea view. The hotel staff were really helpful. The beach is obviously the highlight. There are plenty pools which were a perfect temperature. The bar and restaurants were the usual prices for the area… Read more

The sister hotel next door was also nice although seemed to be busy. Beach slide and pedal boats were great for the kids. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Read less

Kristine at the Kahwa coffee shop made the most amazing lattes in the morning. Kristine customized a few drinks for my wife by adding liquid sugar or steamed milk or extra espressos. I literally feel that I had more lattes than margaritas on my trip.

The beach is beautiful but rumfish is not so nice it's 90 degrees outside and the electric goes out, lady at front has no answers , it's 145 am and I woke up to a sweat and no electric... The guys at the Sandbar; Patrick, Portia, Ali, Josh, Edward and Cortez were simply amazing. These guys made our trip. They made sure our children were happy which made sure we were happy too. Fantastic experience over the 4th July weekend at St Pete’s beach.

Hi! We just got back and enjoyed our trip so much at RumFish Beach at Tradewinds. The room, the customer service, the resort, the pools all great! We are definitely going back here soon. I did want to mention Porchia and Danny, the best bartenders and so nice and fun. Can’t wait to visit them again on our trip coming up!
