Had a great time! The accommodations were great, live music, and sporting equipment rentals. Kayaking the bay was a great way to spend a morning. The pool was very nice with food and drink service, a quality wait staff; Brandon was an awesome server.

Me and my girlfriends loveee doing staycations, usually we stay at a hotel closer to us but my bestie suggested to give this resort a try! Glad we did, but would probably come at a less busy time if we stay here again. It was very crowded at some times and hard to enjoy some of the public areas. Check in was fine, it took a bit longer than I would’ve liked but the front desk lady was really nice. The pool girls Amelie and Andie were really helpful getting us chairs so we could sit out on the bay since the pool was just so crowded. We could find spots the next day (there were 5 of us) thanks to Malia who cleared off some lounge chairs for us. The food was good here but the wait times were a little inconsistent (due to the business I assume, not a big issue). At the pool side restaurant, our server Brandon H. was happy to help, and Andrew and Reese helped us out very politely as well. Kay at the bar was soooo fun and had great customer service! At Cove wood, the host Nick was very fun to talk to and helped us get a table quickly on our first night. Our server Ana was very good with customer service and giving recommendations based on our food preferences. At Plaza de Sol, the live music was a great addition to our night and the hostess Camila was really helpful going over the menu for my friend that had questions. We also kept seeing Nick and Christian (food runners?) that treated us kindly every time we saw them at the restaurants. The housekeeper at the pool, I think named Joanne, also did us a huge favor and made a call to get one of the fire pits turned on. Overall, the staff here was so kind, even just in passing we were given smiles and kind greetings. I would definitely come here again… but at a less crowded time! Read less

Our whole visit here has been great. We love this hotel! We had an especially good experience at the Plaza Del Sol restaurant located at the hotel. Our server Claudio was fantastic! Very attentive and so friendly. We all loved our food. The dog-friendly patio was a huge plus too!

The wife and I stay here often because we always have a great experience. This time was no different, our 21st anniversary “staycation”. Rob, Ali, and Kay are our favorite bartenders, they keep the line moving, rarely a wait for the adult beverages. The pool crew and servers are always professional, if you need a cabana or day bed, ask for Amelie, Reece, or Melia, they’ll take care of you. Poolside dining, try to find a chair in Brandon or Daniel’s section if you want great service. Concierge Katie is always a hoot and gets things done. Knowing it was our anniversary, she had a bottle of champagne and flowers waiting in the room even though we checked in early. Whether we dine at Covewood or Plaza del Sol, Nick, Yuli, and Camilla made it a point to remember us and know where we prefer to be seated if available. SDMBR makes you feel like family every visit, thanks staff, we appreciate you!! Read less

The service was great! We had Malia D. as our pool attendant. She was so friendly and was constantly checking with us to make sure we had everything we needed. I was in town visiting family and we chose to spend a day playing “tourists”. It was super fun! Very relaxing. We would definitely go back!
