Recently renovated, Sonesta ES Suites Orlando-International Drive offers a convenient location across from the ICON Park Wheel and close to all of central Florida’s attractions.  With a fresh modern appeal, all guest suites, public spaces, and dining options have been completely updated.  The hotel offers apartment-style one and two bedroom suites (sleeping up to 6-8 guests), a quick service eatery featuring fresh breakfast items and select Starbucks products for purchase, WiFi access in all suites and public areas, onsite fitness room, heated swimming pool, colorful courtyard seating areas, business services, a shuttle to Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando, and an adjacent I-Ride Trolley Stop which provides transportation to Sea World, Aquatica, and the Orlando Premium Outlets. 146 newly updated suites. All with air-conditioning, premium bedding, full kitchen with cook-top stove, full-sized refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster and tea/coffee maker, cable TV, telephone, complimentary WiFi, safe, hairdryer, and iron and board.  


1-Bedroom Suites are 550 sq ft and have a master bedroom with 1 king-size bed and queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

2-Bedroom Suites are 738 sq ft and have a master bedroom with 1 king-size bed, a second bedroom with 1 queen-size bed, queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room and 2 bathrooms, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 2 adults and 4 children. 


Trio 2-Bedroom Suites are 750 sq ft and have a master bedroom with 1 king-size bed, a second bedroom with 2 double beds, 1 queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room and 2 bathrooms, sleeping maximum 8 adults or 2 adults and 6 children.

Complimentary self-parking. I-Ride Trolley* bus stop nearby which stops at Sea World and Aquatica. Complimentary shuttle to Disney World and Universal, with two departures / returns per day (schedules subject to change). There is an app that allows guests to make shuttle reservations up to 48-hours in advance, and to track the location of shuttles - a QR code will be provided at check-in.

The Morning Pour List (choose your favourites and they will be delivered to your room.). The Shoppe convenience store (open 24-hours).

Heated outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and sun deck. 24-hour fitness centre. Tropical courtyard with sunbathing areas.

Nightly $17 resort fee is included for Virgin Holidays guests.

We have just returned from a week at the Sonesta ES Suites (booked as package with TUI), staying in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. We loved having so much space and a full kitchen - everything was provided, even an ice maker in the fridge / freezer and a dishwasher. Our daughter enjoyed the pool each afternoon, and the location was perfect for Icon Park and lots of lovely restaurants on International Drive - just over the road to lots of entertainment, mini golf, etc. Unfortunately the games room was out of order during our stay but looked like a good spot for a short break away from the sunshine. We asked for extra towels and toilet rolls a couple of times during the week and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly reception staff - the small shop just off reception was handy too (bags of ice are free) - they were also happy to arrange a late check out for us on our last day. We did hire a car from the rental place downstairs (approx £140 for 3 days with a full tank of petrol), but there were plenty of Ubers always available a couple of minutes away. We took an Uber to Disney one day which took about 25 minutes. We would definitely recommend for families and would love to stay again on our next visit to Florida! Read less

Would be grand if you have younger children. We were able to upgrade and again staff were brilliant sorting it and reasonable price to upgrade. Slight downside is not a lot of sunbeds and a few could do with being replaced but does get the sun especially on level 2. Plenty of pool towels always available. Before our trip I read so many reviews about the amazing reception staff, and 100% agree. Always smiling and chatty. Would definitely stay again. Read less

The staff were superb and friendly. Comfortable beds and pillows. Clean all round and very attentive staff. Nothing was too much. Great location, easily accessible for parks and shopping. Stayed for 11 nights 03Jul on a TUI package with included airport transfer.

I can’t understand peoples below par reviews for this place, we loved it! We’ve just returned from a 2 week stay. Ideal location on international drive, opposite icon park and walking distance to all main restaurants. The pool area was lovely and clean and very relaxed, plenty of seating on both levels. Rooms spacious, all working amenities, we stayed in room 247 which is a two bedroom apartment, beds were very comfy. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or a bar but does have a coffee shop which was great for the mornings (the on site shop serves alcohol). We didn’t utilise the free buses to the parks much as they weren’t suitable times for us, but Ubers are cheap and the I-ride trolley was great. Gerald on reception we mainly dealt with and he was lovely. We also utilised the on site laundry which was a god send. Towel and bin change every 3 days and full cleaning every 7, which was more than fine with us. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone staying on international drive. Read less
