The hotel

Luxury in the Bahamas needn’t be off-limit to families. Built to bring all generations together, The Coral at Atlantis Paradise Island has re-opened after being re-designed and re-imagined with features, facilities, and fun for every age and stage of your crew. As well as the revamped rooms, with their balconies and tropical styling, and a sleek pool that’s more Miami than castaway island, The Coral adds decadent family touches like lollies at the swim-up bar and a gelateria in the lobby. Its setting on the island adds to the child-friendly feel, with Bahamian white sand beaches and Marina Village handily close. And you get access-all-areas to all the island’s dining venues and attractions, giving you something to thrill each member of your family — whether that’s plunging past shark-filled waters down the near-vertical Leap of Faith or splashing about in the Mayan-themed children’s water playground.

A script like message is repeated if you are enjoying your stay and like with bad AI you will realize that it’s scripted as the persons are not actually listening. Would not do it if it was free unless you just have that kind of time to waste and airlines tickets just is not worth it. Read less

The Coral was dirty. Used rusty razor on our patio. Bathroom ceiling had weird blobs that we thought would fall on our head. We had no water in our room on our last day, could not shower or use the toilet. The pool closed at 5pm, nothing to do in the evening. My 2 teenage kids went to Crush for teen night, and they were the only kids there…

I have been to Paradise Island dozens of times, sometimes 2-3 times a year about 30 years ago before it was Atlantis. During this trip November 2024. Even though it's 30 years ago. The employees are not friendly, they only speak when they have to and they just yes you to death, lieing through the entire conversation. If you don't have a meal plan,… Read more
I have been to Paradise Island dozens of times, sometimes 2-3 times a year about 30 years ago before it was Atlantis. During this trip November 2024. Even though it's 30 years ago. The employees are not friendly, they only speak when they have to and they just yes you to death, lieing through the entire conversation. If you don't have a meal plan, you won't eat!!! The meal plans are outrageously priced for only 2 meals a day. And if you don't have a plan, the places that are supposed to be open are either closed for renovation or just closed with no explanation. We were planning on going to Silas for a nice dinner. Stopped at the hostess desk and wanted to be seated. She said it's closed for seating but the bar has a menu and it's open till 12.am we went to play a bit and went back at 11pm and to our surprise they were closed with no other options available. So we had to head to the store and pay $35 for a jar of spinach dip and 2 Ramen noodles soups. Unless you like a Hershey chocolate bar or chips that was all you got to choose from. While in the store several people were complaining that at 11pm there was absolutely no where to eat. Another topic is the cats. I have encountered several cats walking around and rubbing up on my leg. The animal lover that I am. I was delighted that they are so friendly and allowed me to love on them until I needed to leave. They were so beautiful each and every one of them. Which brings me to the next question. Who takes care of them? Are the being fed? Are they spayed and neutered? I felt so bad walking away. I think it's a beautiful thing for the resort to do this for them as long as they are being cared for. I heard that some were captured inhumanely and put down. I pray for those poor babies that this isn't the case. They are beautiful and they should be treated with love a with any animal. Anyway, my overall thoughts of Atlantis is, whoever takes care of the food part needs to make sure if there's only 2 places open for non meal plan eaters. And 1 is closed for renovation and the other can just pick and choose randomly when they want to be open and closed, there should be another option open 24/7 or there should be better food options reasonably priced at the store. People usually gain weight on vacation, not us....we lost and can't wait to get home to eat a good meal. I hope this helped and remember, now that I know, I will be better prepared next time and bring cat treats for my little lovable cat friends 💙❤️🩵🩷 Read less
