We stayed at The Westin for 14 nights in Banyan suite, and we chose all inclusive. First impression is really great. We arrrived in the morning and the staff met us with a professional service, offering us breakfast and nice welcome drink. They explained everything and did their best for early check In👌🏻 and the first day we also where introduced to butler Roshan who turned out to be our help in need in every possible way. He was amazing 🤩 and we already miss him a lot, there wore nothing he didn’t do for us to make our stay even better than it already was. So a big thanks to Roshan. When it comes to breakfast buffet it was pretty ok, some small issues like bad scrambled eggs, and a bit hectic environment, but it didn’t matter because everyone was so nice around you. The restaurant at the hotel is great, especially the fusion where we got to know waiter Wimal( we think that’s his name) he was really great and gave us amazing service. But to be honest every person in this hotel was 👍🏻 Seam the head in staff always asked if everything was ok, making sure that we didn’t miss anything. If I should point something out regarding the food, it would be that we missed the opportunity to have lunch buffet. We are a family who have been many places around the world, and to be honest this probably is the one place we will remember because of the people in the hotel and their great personalities and service. Room service was great, everyday you got plenty of towels and water. And they did a great job cleaning the room. There is one thing that is a big minus at this hotel and in Mauritius in general and that’s what I saw regarding stray animals. Some of the staff kicked after them and threw water on them. There are stray cats and dogs and they are sweet and nice, with a respectable behavior toward us people because they are afraid and need food. They didn’t do anything towards us humans and it broke my heart to be witness the situation for the strays. The beach is just ok and, I would recommend shoes. You need a car to explore, because of the location of the hotel. After returning to Norway we can look back to a really great vacation, and would definitely recommend this place Read less

When we go on our holidays, we expect 5 star to be 5 star. We expect the service to be great. Most staff at hotels offer great service because it is their job too. Westin Turtle Bay staff went way beyond great, they were exceptional, every one of them. Let me give you some context. My wife and I booked a 10 night stay for out 1st wedding anniversary and also our honeymoon. Our 1st impression on arrival was WOW! Unfortunately, after 4 nights there, my wife became ill and was admitted to hospital for an emergency heart operation. In kicks the exceptional service. I was going through hell. The staff, initially Ram and Ashna, stepped up a gear and effectively turned a terrible situation into a somewhat more bearable experience for me. Nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble. They bent over backwards to ensure not only myself, but my hospitalised wife were totally looked after. It seemed everyone was aware of my sad and lonely face at breakfast and dinner and effectively gave me a massive Westin Hug! From preparing Caesar salads, juices and bread rolls for my wife while in hospital (see photo), to offering to prepare what ever we wanted to eat if it wasn't on the menu. "We are all here for you and so is our kitchens" Wow! You may be wondering, where is the review? This review isn't about the hotel as such. You can see from the other reviews how superb the hotel is. This is about the staff. These guys don't just give great service, they are also great individuals who care. Before you read reviews where guests are complaining about the lack of choice on the menu (not true), or the cold water was 1 degree too warm, or the dressing gowns were not soft enough, just remember, these guys are human and more importantly, those things really don't matter. What mattered to us was the way we were made to feel, special, appreciated and welcomed. The feeling was definitely reciprocated. My wife could have died and they all cared, from Kavita who looked after our room and would leave flowers and gifts for me and my wife on return from hospital, to Beatrice on the front gate, who would wave and give me such a wonderful smile on my daily journey to and from the hospital. We didn't have the honeymoon we dreamed about, but hopefully one day, we will return, so we can spend time in this wonderful hotel, with the wonderful people and say a massive thank you to the Westin Team. This is a few of the people who made our visit so special. Vimal, Seam, Dravish, Ram, Daven, Kameel, Kavita, Yeshna, Yoan, Pascal,Ashna, Mehfooza, Toushita, Avinash, Ishna, Yovi, Umaira, Yovina, Manisha, Uzair, Bertie, Varun, Rajesh, Calvin, Pamela, Vaden, Emy, Sheila, Terry and Beatrice. Thank You all so very much. I would recommend the Westin and their superb staff to anyone. Read less

I would poach her if I had a hotel. All the staff are great too. We had a lovely stay here and I would come back again and again. The food, the excellent staff treatment, the rooms; (stay in 112) the small touches they have to accommodate guests cannot go unmentioned.. I will not forget my 40th birthday. Thank you Westin Turtle Bay Mauritius. Management; you are getting something right. Well done.!!!!! Read less

We were then invited to a Mystique night with a fire performance, tasty buffet food, and a DJ, which was also very nice. The sunset was spectacular! Read less
