The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Las Vegas excels at delivering the impossible in wonderful ways. Where else can you touch down in the Mojave desert and, within 15 minutes, find yourself being serenaded on a gondola ride to St Mark’s Square? A magnificent greatest hits of Venice’s architecture and canals located in the middle of The Strip, the all-suite Venetian is probably the most romantic hotel in Vegas, so let yourself be seduced. Wonder how you ever managed to stay in anything smaller than a suite before, enjoy a meal from one of the Michelin-starred restaurants, walk hand in hand down the Grand Canal shopping esplanade or party the night away in one of the many bars and nightclubs.

There was no water (drinking) provided as part of the stay.....rather it was part of the mini-bar (i.e. payment), resulting in us having to buy water at the nearby supermarket!. 2. The bathroom was very luxurious, however, there were no bathroom slippers, making walking on the marble floor....cold and unpleasant! 3. The basic cleaning of our suite, during our stay (i.e. bathroom and turning down of the bed) was good, however, the remainder of the suite (cleaning glass surfaces etc.) did not occur during our 6 night stay. I am a local and avoid the strip due to the crowds, and it can be quite expensive, but when there is a show or an event, I make the trip to the strip. But this is about the greedy The Venetian Hotel & Casino PARKING. I went with my family and friends to the hotel for a dinner, show, and some gambling. Before leaving the hotel, I paid for parking. To my surprise, as I drove to the exit gate ALL the parking gates were up! All the cars were leaving the garage without being checked if they paid the fee. On the weekends on the strip, it's expensive, $23 to 28 bucks. So I called the Venetian and spoke with Pricing Manager Duncan, who in summary said there was a large Sphere, some who prepaid parking, and other hotel events that night, 10/25/24. So it was easier to let all the cars out without checking who paid. So what's my complaint? If that was the case, the hotel should have paused the parking fee from being purchased during that time period. The hotel didn't care about who paid or not since some prepaid. Duncan offered no refund to me either. If that's the case, the PARKING FEES is a free money grab by greedy hotels. This local is not coming back here. Shame, shame. Read less

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Everyone is smiling and take great pride in their workplace. Food was delicious everywhere and the room, so quiet and comfortable. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel that has it all. The shopping and food were exceptional, as well.

Read the fine print-the poorest customer service of any 5 star hotel I have ever stayed at. This is more like a three star hotel. Do Not expect this place to do anything but swindle you, with all the options in Vegas stay some where else, I will be.
