Forest Park Hotel was a gem to stay at. Staff did a remarkable job to get it up and running post Wildfire. The staff were great and the facility was in terrific condition. Will stay here again!

We had a good stay at the Forest Park Hotel. We stayed 1 week after they opened from the Jasper Fire. Although many of the services and amenities were not available, we enjoyed our stay in the new building, where the rooms were clean, bright and inviting.

We had a nice stay the Forest Park Hotel in Jasper BC shortly after the devastating fires. Please note: we stayed in Jasper when much of the town was closed as a result of the fires. Jasper was on our road trip map and a stay there made our next stop in Banff an easier driving route. The Forest Park Hotel is a great property and we were fortunate to get in since they were only partially open. We were told we would be upgraded to the Alpine Wing since the other wing was closed for repair (the upgrade meant more money for us-I wish they had told us that, but given everything the community is going through we were happy to have a place to stay). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room in the Alpine section was amazing. The design of the room was beautiful (mini fridge and cooking appliance). There was no food, pool or other services open when we stayed. This property was a great place to stay and we wish them them the best in their recovery. Read less

We were lucky enough to be able to go to this hotel just after it has reopened following the devastating fire and the hotel was perfect. You need to go with the mindset that there is a lot of building work going on in and around all of Jasper including the hotel but the staff could not do enough and the restaurants are all starting to reopen and they desperately need tourism back. All could not recommend this hotel enough. With regards to the negative comments about three distance from town. It is a 15 mins walk and 20 if you take in the wonderful scenery. If you can't walk 15 mins I would question why come to Jasper as it is a hiking holiday. The only negative thing are the tourist taking selfies of the reconstruction zone with no thoughts of those who have lost so much. Read less

Forest Park Resort let us know in plenty of time that as a result of the wild fires they wouldn’t be able to accommodate us. However Booking .com failed to notify us until after we were supposed to stay there. Hats off to Forest Park and we hope you are able to open soon. As for Booking.com please try harder for Jasper’s sake ❤️
