Built in 1957, Mammoth Mountain Inn was Mammoth's first ski-resort accommodation and the only slope-side hotel at Mammoth's Main Lodge. Today it offers activities year round — in summer there's hiking, biking and outdoor adventures, and in winter it's a core skiers' and snowboarders' paradise, with the ultimate entry point to the slopes. Ski to the hotel at the end of the day and you can soon be blowing the steam off your hot toddy. Take a dip in the outdoor pool or one of the indoor or outdoor hot tubs. The Yodler dining terrace is the ideal place for a light snack on a sunny day and the great après-ski atmosphere in the Dry Creek Lounge is further enhanced by regular live music.

The staff was very accommodating and made it very easy to extend our stay. I highly recommend the mammoth mountain inn if you are in need of a dog friendly place on the mountain. Natalie and Victoria were especially helpful during our stay. Thanks again to the staff at the mammoth mountain inn.
