Merrill Farm Inn is a quaint and charming location with welcoming hosts.Our room inside the main building was small but cosy and comformable and good value with a hearty breakfast included.

We booked very last minute with the Merrill Inn to take in the last views of the spectacular fall foliage. Our guest room was terrific. It was clean with very comfortable beds. We booked very last minute with the Merrill Inn to take in the last views of the spectacular fall foliage. Our guest room was terrific. It was clean with very comfortable beds. It is simple in furnishings not fancy. The restaurant onsite was such a convenience for dinner and a surprising full service breakfast included. If you are planning to visit North Conway and be outside enjoying fantastic scenery, hikes, shops biking, an old train ride then visit the Inn for a lovely stay with humble furnishings and a kind staff offering hospitality. Location and setting were vey nice. Hotel staff was great. The room was clean and cozy. The restaurant on site was also enjoyable with good food, drinks and staff. 2 minor issues - we turned up the heat in the room before leaving for dinner and returned to a very warm room. The restaurant on site was also enjoyable with good food, drinks and staff. 2 minor issues - we turned up the heat in the room before leaving for dinner and returned to a very warm room. It took a long time to cool the room back down and the drapes prevented direct air circulation, so we did not get comfortable enough to sleep until late and ended up sleeping with the drapes mostly open. The shower valve was also a little hard to shut completely off, so continued to run if you were not careful in closing it tightly. Read less

We were really looking forward to the visit , however when we checked in the hotel the young man could hardly speak English or utter any words, I tried several times to engage with him but to no success. We were then informed the restaurant and bar was closed Monday to Wednesday which was super annoying - no alternatives were provided - not a good start. I asked to upgrade - but what I was offered was no better than the room we were shown and I would have paid more ! I asked about the sauna and spa facilities - I got a vague answer about turning it on and help yourself - again simply not acceptable - and upon inspection I would not use them in the dank basement Overall it was really disappointing Read less
