My wife and I loved the location (very close to the village). The parking was convenient and we were even given two glasses of champagne when we arrived. My wife and I were dumb to leave our windbreaker jackets in the closet and we were freaking out but thankfully JENNIFER GARCIA from housekeeping gathered them and shipped them back to us after I… Read more

While the Westin's location and the quality of the rooms make it a best place to stay in Mammoth Lakes, it's their staff that make it so special. I've stayed here before and always find that the staff goes out of their way to be helpful. This particular stay was supporting a backpacking expedition and I needed some extra consideration. I've stayed here before and always find that the staff goes out of their way to be helpful. This particular stay was supporting a backpacking expedition and I needed some extra consideration. The staff made it a "no problem" situation. Special thanks to Ricardo, Tim, and Kelly for their positive, helpful efforts to meet guest needs. I'll be back here for ski season. Thanks again! My husband and I stayed at this hotel on August 23, 2024. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful. He helped us with the upgrade of our room. The room is fantastic! The layout of the room is well designed and the room is very comfortable!

This was our second trip to the Westin Monache in Mammoth Lakes. Many of the staff remembered us from last summer. We were greeted like friends by Alex at the front desk. Julio and Greg helped with our bags and were very nice. Every time we came to the lobby, Valerie was there and would ask about our day and offer assistance if we needed transportation or advice on what to do. Restaurant supervisor, Edgar, treated us like visiting royalty. I've never been to a hotel where all the staff seems so happy to be there. The rooms are gorgeous and there is air conditioning! I think this will be our new summer vacation spot! Read less

Stay far away. This place is an absolute crap hole. We got food poisoning from room service, and the hotel's response was, "We can connect you to the restaurant. They're a separate business." The manager of the hotel actually claimed that their on-site restaurant that provides their room service was not their responsibility. As for the restaurant,… Read more
Stay far away. This place is an absolute crap hole. We got food poisoning from room service, and the hotel's response was, "We can connect you to the restaurant. They're a separate business." The manager of the hotel actually claimed that their on-site restaurant that provides their room service was not their responsibility. As for the restaurant, they promised to remove the charge from the bill, but never followed through. Seriously, we got very sick for two days, with all the gory symptoms of food poisoning. No, running to the bathroom every half hour, feeling alternating fever and chills, and leaving weakened is not my idea of a nice stay. Beyond that, run-down rooms and gym make this a poor choice. Zero stars. Read less
