What a wonderful stay in St Vincent. I was upgraded to the lovely suite and service was excellent. Fabulous Beachcombers hotel was on beachfront and the weather was good. I also visited beautiful Bequia island by ferry. I will come back some day.

As a Vincy visiting each year from England I have always enjoyed visiting Beachcombers for breakfast and lunch. Today however was a little disappointing when visiting for lunch. The menu options were limited. I ordered chicken wings and seemed to be 6 pieces of wing with a small salad and flat bread. For what it was I felt the price was too high. It tasted ok. After asking for the bill and paying no change was returned. After sitting for almost 10 minutes and realising the change was not going to be returned but presumably taken as a tip although the bill included service charge and the tax, I just left. It should not matter if it was only a small amount of change due, the presumption to not return is what is wrong. Read less

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and were pleasantly surprised , that although our room wasn’t ready until after 3, we had been upgraded to the penthouse. The reception staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and directed us down to the bar which over looked the pool and sunbathing area that fronted onto the small beach. Our room was amazing and had everything we needed. Cleaned almost daily, the one time it was missed was our choice, and fresh towels when required. Although quite close to the road there was no road noise and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were room only but did eat in the hotel a couple of times and the food was reasonable priced and good quality. There were a few other places to eat along the beach or of course you could taxi into the neighbouring villages. We would highly recommend Mangoz just along the beach from the hotel. The negatives are that there were only 5 sun beds by the pool and no umbrellas. We asked a member of staff about it but she looked very vague and replied that that was all there was and we should try the beach. There was a gentleman on the beach with a handful of rickety beds so we had to pay to hire these for the day. We had an evening flight and understandably couldn’t keep our room any later, but the was no where for us to freshen up and change. We ended up checking out of the hotel and spending the day on Young Island at extra expense. Saying this, it was an incredible experience and well worth doing. Read less

Absolutely fabulous hotel! I have no complaints, all the staff from the minute I arrived were so friendly, helpful, to make my stay a real pleasure. A family run business which has those little touches, mindsets different to the large corporate hotels. Situated in a lovely part of St Vincent “Villa”. Your first impressions are the gardens, lots of plant, shrubs with bloom very floral, well kept and it gives that oasis feel. Deluxe room ticked all the boxes lovely large bed, tv, large bathroom/shower, digi box tv, fridge and a sofa which suited me for use at times having to do some work. A top chef with a great team, lovely food, excellant waitress, waiters, bar staff with a beautiful setting looking out on to the bay. Day time out by the pool, big enough to do a few strokes or just to cool off or the option to take a few steps down and your on the beach. Minutes away from the hotel are other options for dining, bars, pool tables if you need or should require a change. Thank you all for making my stay such a joy and keep up the great service and work ethic. Highly recommend this hotel to family and friends. When I return to St Vincent with my family we will be staying at Beachcombers Hotel. Read less
